Autism is order, NT is the disorder

Hi,
Too many times I've seen Autistic spectrum mentioned as a disorder, some kind of illness that needs to be cured.

A disability, yes. Like the disability of falling over when drunk. (not very useful if someone then thinks you are sober and expects you to be so).


So, is Autism the Order and being NT the disorder. The certainly fits in with my experiences.

Me (aspie) being "rude": I don't think you should have lied.

Them: THAT IS SO RUDE TO SAY.

or

Them (almost stranger): So how come you don't work? What are you ill with?

Me: I'd rather not discuss it with people I don't know. (Here I want to say YOU ARE RUDE but I don't)

Them: Oh don't be rude.





Yea from my perspective it looks like I'm right and they are wrong.

But I guess there are 2 stories. Even more. There are no us and them.

that's down to disability, not disorder.

If I have something that distresses me I can do something very rhythmic (orderly) make stupid noises or curse (banana is my favourite swear word!) etc.... when my brian is in disorder, I use something orderly to correct it and put it back into order.

When I see pattern, order in things I notice them where others NTs do not and say that I'm crazy or they don't exist, or that's been philosophized about for years etc....

I am simple and I find things simple, I am order and I find things orderly.... all things except NTs.

NTs don't appear to find anything orderly about the world around them and make up Gods and such to explain their need to maintain order in their chaos. All I have to do is rock a bit or curse, or thing or take a bit of K.

Oh for God's sake.

why do something for the sake of nothing?

See, that's often the sign of 'bad' things to come, Oh for God's sake, followed by flying off the handle.
