Is it best to quit drinking alcohol altogether?

when I go out I do enjoy having a few beers because it makes me feel more relaxed and social etc...

Alcohol is addictive, and it could adversely affect your health after long-term use.

But its use is a personal choice.

Adverse synergy should be a concern of yours.  Consult your doctor.
