I take a multivitamin and vitamin D supplements every day as well as omega 3 (although I've run out of omega 3 and need to get more). The vitamin D is only from October to May or April, it helps with my seasonal affective disorder. I am also trying bright light therapy this year for SAD.

I take a multivitamin and fish oil mostly for depression, and to keep my cholesterol levels in the normal range, as high cholesterol runs in my family.

For depression it's worth researching S-Adenosyl methionine (SAMe) <- link

There have been good results in well designed clinical studies. The prinicple mode of action is through supply of methyl groups (CH3) which are used in many biochemical processes, but of note are DNA and neurotransmitter synthesis, e.g. it's recommended to not take SSRIs with SAMe as it may cause serotonin syndrome (excess serotonin).

I take a multivitamin, a vitamin E supplement, and a supplement for calcium, magnesium, and zinc. I'd like to get a vitamin K supplement, but none of the stores here seem to have it (I don't get enough of those vitamins and the multivitamin doesn't have them).
