I've had a sinus infection for three weeks, and it's driving me crazy. If I'd had one for ten months...

I hope the specialist can figure something out. Although, like you say, it doesn't sound as if they care.

I feel your pain. I've been living on my own for 6 years and it has been a struggle to keep the place clean. I've had sinus congestion for the past few years to the point where it has been a real annoyance and I can only breathe properly if i sleep on my left side. I've been to several doctors, i've tried different prescriptions and i was on claritin D for nearly 2 years. the claritin has helped somewhat but honestly in the long run there has been literally no change. It's frustrating and i've gotten tired of going to see doctors about it. so now I just try my best to keep my diet in check and keep exercising (bike riding/cycling mostly) and things have improved a little bit. I think a healthy lifestyle is our best chance of actually feeling healthy and good. medicine and doctors can only do so much
