And if I weigh more, then I should lose a few pounds very soon. HA!! ! :roll:
That's what the quiz I just took told me on Blogthings.com after I answered the questions as honestly and accurately as I could (I actually drink tea with 1% milk more than any other beverage but that wasn't listed naturally, so I picked water being my personal second. But I weigh over 240 lbs! And the quiz said if I weigh less I have a fast metabolism and should be putting ON weight soon. Fast metabolism, right! :roll: Today I didn't have anything to eat until close to suppertime except for tea and I know not eating is supposed to slow down metabolism but I wasn't physically hungry anyway, no stomach growls or mouth watering at the thought of food. My metabolism is already slow so almost anything that has calories will be turned into fat right away, even if it's healthy. Or is there such a thing as healthy food anymore? Every day another food on the news we thought was healthy can't eat any more. Last week I even told my mother the salmon she ate is supposed to be full of mercury, but she just laughed. So the only alternative is starvation. Well I am SO sorry I don't have the willpower to become anorexic. I often wish I could just not eat for days, but becoming sick or passing out is not a very fun experience for me. I am so sick of the entire world being full of diet Nazis, everyone is suddenly a licensed dietician and pushing their beliefs on what I can or can't eat and they don't even know me. Just having to go to a grocery store with screeching kids and trainee cashiers who take twenty minutes to scan five items and trying to choose from fifty brands of toothpaste is stressful enough without having to worry about gluten and corn syrup and pesticides and how many fruit/vegetable servings this item has and on and on... :(

So, like, you do know Anorexia is a mental illness that actually KILLS PEOPLE and not a diet mantra?

Just do the best you can to eat "clean"- the less packaged and processed foods the better.
Emphasize the nutrient-dense over the calorically-dense, and fresh over preserved.
It's not rocket science.

Just lift weights and then you can eat like a gazillion calories a day without getting fat.

185 pounds around 84kg is the ideal weight for a male around 6 feet(183cm) tall.
i weigh 185 pounds but I am only 5 feet 10.5 (179cm).
180 pounds would be an ideal weight for me but 5 pounds give or take is ok.

OP you are 240 pounds and around 55 pounds or 25Kg away from your ideal weight of 185 pounds.
