Now the Kings and 'Nucks have the same # of points......

BTW, if the Nucks win the SC in 2013, will they put an asterisk by the title due to the shortened season?

There's no asterisk beside the Devils from 95, so I doubt it.

With that said, though, if the Canucks win I'm all for putting an asterisk there.

P.S. Greygirl, I have to say that's a rule that I think refuses to ever be broken. For years now for some reason, any goalie that ends up in Philly is instantly terrible.

Sob. You're right. It's the curse of Lindbergh. (I din't believe in curses BTW, I just think they will forever look for a goalie just like him and there will never be one)

What a terrible night. Nucks win, Leafs lose badly to one of the teams chasing them. Ugh.

Oh Dallas, I wonder why I root for you?
You always stay right in the middle of the pack. :x

So the Canucks beat the Kings yesterday. I do think that despite the fact I do <3 both teams (long story short: Seattle has NO NHL team and I needed a fave US-based team to root for), the Kings/Canucks rivalry is the best rivalry that no one is paying attention to.

Well, I don't know what to say. Dallas traded away Jagr, Roy, and Vincour for mostly next year draft picks.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised though... still :?

I remember when Dallas was once a great team...that organization's really gone downhill over the last few years. Nieuwendyk was great as a player, not so sure about him as a GM

Even though it's been almost a year, the Kings fan in me still gets goosebumps over this. :D

I pretty sure it was our previous owner, Tom Hicks who caused a lot of the mess we're in now. I'm too sure Nieuwendyk is to blame for it all, but we will see how it goes.
