Has anyone ever used skiing in the winter as a form of therapy? I go skiing every winter by myself several times every winter.

I skied lift-served backcountry and moguls for a month the last two years and 21 days this one. I need to buy an AT binding setup. (DX'd at age 5) I'd lose my mind if I couldn't. Not sure I'd call the skiing itself therapeutic, but exercise and adrenaline help a lot. If I can, I'm going dirt jumping with my mountain bike today.

For me, yes! Breathing in the brisk winter air and exercising. is definately theraputic. Not to mention, skiing is stimulating and gives a great natural high. Its my favourite sport.
