^ Go you! I remember that video you posted, nice scenery, it would do anyone good. I haven't done much exercise lately, filled some sand bags at the weekend, if that counts :?. Its too cold and wet, gonna have to follow the January hoards and join a gym to use a treadmill.

I used the Tracks app on my phone to measure. I've actually been doing 7.6 miles.

I yesterday and today makes 4 days in a row. My legs were actually starting to crap out on me on the way home. I think I'll rest tomorrow. Don't want to over train...

82.7 kilometre bike ride this morning (New Years day). Streets were deserted...

One of the advantages of exercising early is that you get to see the sunrise.

Stopped on my trip to take this picture:

I managed to complete the warm-up of "Insanity's" Pure Cardio workout.

After gaining close to 15lbs on Mirtazapine, I am hoping to restart the program tomorrow morning.

As an isolated chap it can be quite difficult for me to summon up the motivation to workout, but it does seem to enhance my mood - if I eat healthily, too.

**bump**

Yeah, it's been a few months.

I can prove it by the return of my belly bump. I look five months' pregnant but I swear to you it's all fat from the whole eat junk and sit in a desk chair staring at paper and computer monitors all freaking day.

The only calories I burn these days are walking home from the bus stop.

And the city bus in Tacoma does not remotely resemble my happy place, people.

Anyway Beckafly finally pushed me hard enough to take her to the gym today. Yoga classes have started back up, so there's further incentives. As long as NTHubby is good with it, I'll be going back to my gym rat routine soon.

Anyway--65 minutes on the elliptical, usually at about 2.7 mph, and that while facebooking. An exercise in frustration as much as actual exercise. But it said I burned over three hundred calories, and my weight afters was still under 170#. So not a total waste. Hopefully I will keep it up and my waist will show it!

Another 80+ kilometre bike ride.

Took off just before 6 AM on a 5 hour ride...

Significant headwind on the way back... the last 20 kilometres were tough...
