When does body positivity go too far? I believe that it goes too far when eating habits and exercise habits are either extreme. Last time I weighed myself I was 238 pounds. I decided that it was time to stop putting excessive sweets and preservatives in my body. I care about my body and respect it enough to exercise every week give or take and to eat healthy. I know that when I lose weight I will respect my body even more and learn from the mistakes I made in the past.

Starving yourself and vomiting up every single meal isn't healthy nor is eating junk food that isn't even meant to be in the human body, never exercising and allowing yourself to be obese isn't healthy. I know I'm not as healthy as I could be and I'm working super hard to become healthy.

So, when does it go to far in your opinion?

I don't see any problem with eating a few pieces of candy with a meal--sweets are OK if you do it in moderation.

I eat sweets in moderation. Nothing wrong with it. :)

When you're 100 lbs or less AND you're running for hours everyday, THATS when you are overdoing it. IMO.

in general, it is "going too far" if you end up gaining weight [due to elevated stress hormones messing up the insulin fat-storage response]. that can happen if you exercise too much and eat too little of the right [nutritious] things.
