Yes, there are two kinds of 'gridiron' football, that being the American and Canadian kind.
I have to ask now, which do you like?
I like both, actually. Both actually feature some dynamic action, in the American kind, you have a smaller field, and a mix of passing and running (with emphasis on the latter). In the CFL, you have a passing game dominant with one less down and a larger field.
Aah, how I wish there was more coverage for the CFL here in America....
(I am a BC Lions fan, BTW!)

* 3 downs is much better than 4 but would prefer 4 for 15 yards personally.
* Easier to hit a field goal and I like the fact missed field goals are live
* More aerial action
* OT not "decided" based on coin toss in Canada
* Too easy to manipulate the clock in American football
* Canadian game is a little faster paced with a shorter play clock
* CFL season is a better time for me. NFL goes on too long into winter
* CFL games not just on Sundays (and Monday nights)
Amen, bro. My dad dislikes the CFL, but I disagree with him on that count.

I have given thought @ coming to another BC Lions game this season, now that BC Place Stadium has been renovated.......... it should be fun!
