I have had my nose injured quite a few times growing up so its not developed in a natural way. My brother said to me 5 years ago that i should get it fixed because its making me look ugly and that its getting more bent in shape.

My question i am asking is will my nose get more bent/crooked in shape the older i get?

No way of knowing.....

We can't see your nose; it might not be as "ugly" as you believe it is.

Many people actually believe a slightly misshapen nose indicates "character" in a person.

I've known women who are charmed by "imperfections" such as the one you described.

All in all, past secondary school age, most people really don't care all that much if somebody doesn't look like a model.

If it effects my breathing I may have no choice to get it fixed

Your brother is a dickhead for calling you ugly and making you feel insecure.

Get it fixed if it's causing breathing issues.

My dad has had his nose broken twice in the 1970s but never bothered getting it fixed.

I'm going to make an educated guess that it will get worse with time, but I can't say for sure.

Personally, I would be unlikely to get it fixed for cosmetic reasons. No one is perfect, surgery is expensive, and even then, it may not achieve perfect results. However, if it is affecting your breathing, then I'd say definitely get it fixed. I had surgery on my deviated septum a decade ago and was able to breathe much better. Not perfectly, but much better than before.

I saw my doctor about it 4 years ago and all he really said was “It’s a big operation and that my nose was definitely broken”. He didn’t refer me to an ear nose and throat specialist he just gave me some nasal drops which is about as much use as toilet paper

At least you don’t have a nose like Jimmy Durante.

But then….he made an excellent living based on his nose….
