I'm willing to work for kind people. I won't have anything to do with any other kind.

I seem to often assume that people will be unkind to me and am surprised when they aren't.

The things that mattered yesterday don't seem to matter today

It's always happened in the workplace in the past

Noise cancelling headphones do not seem to completely shut off all sound..If you are attentive to persons in front of you ,
you can hear them okay..they seem to just diminish all sounds ..close by people that are not talking loudly enough to fully activate the noise cancelling can be heard okay too. I wear them to movie theatres.Helps alot . If I go to a thestre, it has been a few years now.

It's the paranoia that gets me more than the noise but that doesn't mean to say the headphones won't help

I actually wear ear defenders to get to sleep when there's a house party nearby and for my bf's snoring when he stays over

Sometimes, I wish there's a substance for me to become like another person.

Could be alcohol, marijuana, nicotine, certain medications... Even something like coffee -- which doesn't, though.

Those... 'Tools'... Are not readily available nor helpful for me.
