So my problem is adhd.
I get tasks done very slowly and cant concentrate properly.
My focus shifts from something to something else over and over.
I cant focus on what im doing at the moment because of worrying about future.

Do I need meds for dealing with it?
Have any of you treated their adhd and how?
Whats the cure of it except medications

I use Equasym. Not sure what it's called in other places around the world. I think I'm on quite a high dose but I have nothing to compare that to so not sure.

I mean it has helped me to focus in a sense that I can hold down a job, pay bills and focus on the day to day boring things and I could never do that before I started using it.

I can focus on a task like decorating the house but as soon as it's the next day then I'm on for something else regardless of whether it's finished or not. But then I'll get back to it at some point. Mañana never comes

I don't think there's really a cure for this

There isn't a cure, the closest I've had was a ton of meditating and a proper diet. Realistically, you're probably better off learning how to do things like task swift and more effectively work with the ADHD rather than against it, because a cure probably isn't coming.

Same as for autism, self-acceptance and organizing your life to minimize the downside.

And as I noted, meditation and a proper diet help. But, realistically that mostly reduces the downsides.

I tried Methyphenidate for my adhd but it made me paranoid and anxious.

I doubt that other stimulants would be much better for me.

Adhd meds are good when they work and with acceptable side effects for an individual.

Do you have a pill organizer or anything like that?

Yes, it's definitely a your mileage may vary situation with side-effects.

I don't get much benefit, but zero negative side effects. :|

You must be mostly immune to their effects, either positive or negative.

Like a superhero or something. :P

You might want to consider Guanfacine.
It's not an amphetamine and it's made for autistic folks.

I ended up stopping mine (can't remember why?) and using Dexedrine, but I could still use it as an add-on if I want.
I think I just didn't want to take two things when I could take one.

I have used Clonidine in the past, which is similar to Guanfacine, for Tourette's Syndrome (the medication can also be used for adhd, same as Guanfacine), but I found it:

A) Made me unbearably drowsy
B) It made my depressed mood worse

The only medications that I seem to tolerate are antidepressants and anti-psychotics. Everything else I have tried have been too much with the side effects.

I would probably try Guanfacine if I had the choice, but it is hard to have it prescribed for adults in the UK. I think it is licensed for children over here.

Nothing really works for me, even blood pressure meds or antibiotics.
I don't use psych meds at all except Dexedrine which doesn't do much.
I'm kind of immune to all meds so I take as few as possible.

You sound hyposensitive to meds.

I am more hypersensitive to meds, the opposite.
