before medication arrived...

i had grandiose mood problems (up to 6-8 months of mania or depression), and the slightest event would throw my mood to the wind sometimes upwards of a few times on a daily basis...eventually to return to either mania or depression.

........sometimes i "feel" like i wanna stop the meds and just let myself go. but then i remember how f***ing much depression sucks when i miss a dose, and i pop that lithium down the hatch.

I know the feeling. Sometimes I look at my meds just before I take them and think, "the rest of my life? Just to be normal?" But I take them because I'm a Mum and others rely on me. And I'd sooner have the side effects than the illness.
