Why do people assume bi girls are boy crazy?

Before I called myself bisexual people just thought I was straight and not too boy crazy. No one that knew me really talked to me about boys.
After I came out as bi a lot of people started assuming I was boy crazy. They started talking to me about boys way more than they did before.
They totally ignored that I like girls. They even acted shocked when I did act attracted to girls. Are they ducking stupid?

You are very likely neurotypical
I'm a guy & I've known quite a few bi girls. I wouldn't say any of them gave me particular cause to make that assumption.
