Jakki if you like Talking heads you might like Dogs Die in Hot Cars. They were a short lived band who only had one album out. It's a cracking album.

Oh and the Ting Tings have a lot of beats derivative of Talking Heads though they are not at all post punk.

I also really like Opeth
I like a lot of different genres but metal is my favourite
