Justin Bieber is also a Canadian which is sad because he does not reflect the musicians of this country. There are so many Canadian musicians who are good and talented who don't get airplay on the radio in Canada and the U.S. Justin Bieber shows that people desperate for fame can post videos on youtube and get discovered and get famous even if they don't really have any talent. My mom joked with my younger brother the other day saying "You can do what he did. All you need is a webcam and a youtube page and you'll be famous. You've got the looks". It made me laugh right away. He is a disgrace to those on YouTube who are actually talented musicians and I am ashamed that he is Canadian. I did like many the jokes that have been posted though. I think I will refer to him as "It" from now on. hahaha

95% of his fanbase are under the age of 15.
95% of people under 15 are stupid when it comes to the subject of music.

Thus, corporations exploit stupidity in the young music fanbase and make millions off it.

I don't like Bieber, either. Why couldn't they have picked a good pop singer to come from Canada to be famous, like Lights?

I'd like to up the stakes with this one. I'll trade Justin Bieber AND Miley Cyrus to bring back both John Lennon and George Harrison so we can get the Beatles reunion that we always hoped for

I have not knowingly ever heard any of Justin Beiber's music. In fact, I had to ask my wife a while back just what was he famous for. The one thing that stands out about him for me was the embarrassing video of him walking into a glass door.

For some good music... Canada obviously does have talent, they just need a better representative than Bieber.

@ Xenu: I'm pretty much at a loss for words...
Getting even more tired of this gimmick now... >.>

@ bnorval1: That would be amazing!

Maybe the North Koreans could hold him for ransom.
Then luckily we don't deal with terrorists.
So then he'll be their problem :D

Personally, I don't see why people hate him so much. The jokes about his voice are really immature. His songs are not the best, IMO, but Baby is okay.

I guess most of the brutality towards him is from 4chan. Poor kid.
