Some interesting old artwork depicting the entity known as 'Death'. :skull:

My favorite is "Death the Comforter".

Cool find, Twiz!

There is an old book in the house from 1915 titled "The Blessed Peace of Death." Its cover is extremely Goth-looking, with two inverted torches crossed at the bottom of the engraving that made up the title. Death is referred to as "The Strong Angel" inspired by the Angel of Death in the Old Testament, book of Exodus to be specific.

I've really enjoyed the vintage drawings you've been posting.

They are nice huh? Death is feared and hated, and yet he simply ends our suffering. :skull:
