Post your favorite paintings here. I prefer relatively unknown work, so please no very famous pictures, like Rembrandt's Nightwatch. This doesn't mean, however, that the painter isn't allowed to be famous. Just not the works that everybody already knows.

Neil Jenney-I've seen this one IRL I don't think his work comes off as well in a photo. They are very large and I love that you can still see the canvas beneath the brushstrokes. He also does very tight work like this:

It is Klimt!

I love Kahlo but Klimt always left me cold for some reason.
There's a now defunct magazine called The Sciences that was put out by The New York Academy of Sciences that always had a lot of cool artwork for illustrations. I kept the magazines and found a few painters to show.
