Do you play any instrument, for how many years and how do you like it?

I collect musical instruments, I have at least 20. I taught myself the basics of piano when I was 6 or so, so about 22 years ago. I still play now, mainly Christmas Carols this time of year. I love the piano. I was in band in school for 4 years playing the clarinet, don't remember it much now though. I can play basic melodies on about 10 of the instruments, but piano is my favorite and best.

I used to play french horn for a while - the kind without the thumb valve. But I didn't have enough time to practice it, so I quit. I'd like to learn guitar eventually. I'm good with my hands, and I won't have to blow in it.

Almost 4 years.

I used to play brass instruments (not very well) - trumpet, cornet, flugel, tenor, euph, they're fundamentally similar. Flugel and tenor were my favourites. I've tried to learn guitars and piano/keyboard many times but find them too hard. I just sing now.

now granted - I sold all these to pay the bills (alas), but they're almost in order of how well I do (or don't) play them...

I am only self-taught, I can't even read notes, I use a kiddie system to play, so depending on your definition I do or don't play. I only know a few melodies still.

I bought a cheap keyboard when I was 14, and at times I have played a lot, at times it has been unused. So on and off for 18 years.

I very much enjoy playing it.

I played piano for 11 years and violin for 7 years. They're both fine.

I used to play the violin when I was younger didnt like when I made it screech when I first started. I played that for many years. Then I moved onto the flute which I enjoyed for quite a while but got damaged in the flood so I cant play it any more and one of my family has just started to learn the flute too yay!

I play the Piano, I have only been playing for a few months, but I'm starting to learn how to play "Crucify" by Tori Amos. I have the melody correct, but not the keys.

I've played trumpet for 9 years now, and have been singing (tenor) for 4.

I enjoy both - brass instruments have a wonderful power behind them. And it's fun being able to hit notes that other musical friends can't hit (my low note when warmed up is a not-at-all-low middle c, but I can reach up to c two octaves above)... Even if it does attract (joking) comments about not being a real man...

I've been playing piano for about 3 years now. I've been playing bass and drums about two years too. I can play a bit of guitar when it suits me, and I've been playing that about 2 years too.

i acted out the role of an animated cello in a school play once.
therefore i played an instrument.

Sounds almost identical to my repitoir, appart from the dates ;P
No mandolin or flute, but i can play some trumpet, trombone, violin and recently i've been getting into programming music too.

I'm learning to play the drums.
