Has anyone read Jerry Spinelli books extensively? I've only read Maniac Magee and Stargirl (the latter made me cry- i'm SUCH a chick), but both seemed to have pretty Aspish characters in them. I'm curious- those of you who have read other books by him- were the characters in them Aspish too, or at least worth lowering my dignity a bit and checking out from the liibrary even though I'm nineteen?

Big Spinell fan here! Not as buch as my sister, though. I've read lots of his stuff, and most of his characters are very aspish(Stargirl Rules!!) There's one I love especially, Loser The main character in that, especially just his thinking, the way his mind processes things, is very aspish.
