Very obscure release from early 1980, but interesting and well worth a listen.

Hot Love and Get It On from 'The Midnight Special' show, USA, 1973.

Brilliant live performance from T Rex here. Astonishing to see the grey hairs on Marc Bolan though, aged only 26. Compare this with footage from 1971-72 and you can see the ravages of alcohol and cocaine use over a very short period.

The female backing singers are Gloria Jones (Bolan's partner from here until his death in 1977) and Pat Hall.

^^^ Love that!

Rhiannon is my favourite Fleetwood Mac number, but The Chain's up there. Saw them Live at the O2 Arena London, year before last. They have just as many young fans, as they do diehard fans from the 70s/80s and so on. Their energy levels remain very high on stage, and Lindsay Buckingham(who's since left), was incredible, highest energy of them all, remaining on stage the entire night!
