I don't understand Japanese, but I love this song. I like the sound of the words. Mostly though, I like it because I like Rurouni Kenshin (anime series and live action movie). Initially, I posted a Mary and Judy video, but then I saw this.

My age was in the upper single digits when Woodstock took place. So, I wasn't there. In fact it was six days before my 10th birthday. I looked it up and Melanie performed on the first day, technically the second because she played from 1:00 am to 1:30am. link to Melanie's performance I've seen several interviews where she talks about the song Lay Down and Woodstock. When I was a kid, I didn't know that though. I just liked the sound and the feel.
