And one of the best live shows....Pixies!! ! It was also LOUD!! ! I love the sound of Kim Deal's bass playing and her voice.

I'm not trying to make you jealous, MP, honest, but I saw Sonic Youth at First Avenue as well and it was awesome. It was probably 1992.

Legit crying about this and the Pixies (okay, just metaphorically crying).

I had tickets to see the Pixies and then couldn’t go. I’m still salty about it.

MP, don't feel too bad about missing that show. I know how you feel. I was 15 when Husker Du and the Replacements came to town and played the same night. A punk friend of mine had her Mom take her to the bar and the bar let them both in. I wanted SO BADLY to see that show but there was no chance in HELL that my parents would have taken me or would have let me go with my friend and her Mom. I was never able to see either band live and both were/are favorites of mine.

Aw man, that would have been a great show. :( I listened to those bands when I was 15 too. But I was 15 in 2005, soooo it didn’t quite work out for me either.

I had the beginning of this song as my cell phone ring tone for about five years. No one ever recognized the band or the song. I guess I wasn't all that surprised....

Was jamming out in my car to this song today. I don’t even care if anyone next me at stoplights saw. 8)

I’m getting an itch to go to a very loud show and dance around til the sun comes up.

^ I still remember when they played this song at the live show. As could be imagined, the crowd went crazy and sang along to the entire song. A packed club singing and dancing to this song!
