Listening to Breaking Benjamin's album Dear Agony at the moment.

Most of what I listen to is similar. Music that is about feeling bad and empty. Even if I'm in a good place in life, like right now, I still love this kind of music.

Why do you think that is? Are you similar?

Even if I'm happy right now, the song I Will Not Bow is my theme song.

I remember that album.

Most of the music I have is of the angsty kind.
I guess I identify with the emotions and it's a way of processing feelings without having to talk to anyone about them.
It also forms a connection with the band and I think it just snowballs from there and becomes a bit of an addiction.
Music is meant to make you feel something and it's like finding your tribe when you find the music that makes you feel not quite so alone in the universe.

I listen to a lot of EMO, punk, & grunge. I think the emotions seem more real & relatable to me. The upbeat happy songs seem kinda fake & superficial sometimes even when I'm in a good mood.

Without music I would not be able to understand my thoughts or communicate in any way.

I'm not sure, but I sure do love Converge. :skull:

I have no idea why. I love Joy Division for example, i used to listen to them when i was suicidal a long time ago. Maybe it makes me remember how far i have come from these times.

Sometimes it "feels so good to hurt so bad".
