Alright! Great to see some fellow Beatles fans here! Have any of you by chance seen Across the Universe? I have and I really liked it

It was a bit inconsistent at times but it was still a most intriguing idea. The director, Julie Taymor, also directed Titus, which I found to be a bit too bold and brash at times. Her boldness and desire to over do it comes out in this movie as well. The plot was...thereish and sometimes non-existant. Some of the songs did little to forward the plot. All and all I found it be a most original idea and a wonder at times to watch.

I've never seen Across the Universe, but Titus is probably among my top ten favourites. I think it's a wonderful film.

I think you're the first person I've met who actually liked Revolution 9. Granted I do too but it's far from my favorite on The Beatles.

Anyone here really prefer the Naked version of Let it Be (the album) over the original? I myself completely disregard the original album as in my heart Naked is the true version. Paul wasn't happy with the original and neither am I

I'm not big on The Beatles but they did inspire the parody group; "The Boobles" that's raising money for breast cancer awareness http://thefump.com/artist.php?id=39
Here's their official site http://www.theboobles.org/

I'm happy to be of service. Of course, the whole album screams of originality and making this decision (and the others) were quite hard.

The "clothed" version remains in the official Beatles discography. Despite Phil Spector's best efforts, I'm glad we are able to hear what the Beatles originally intended to release with the "Naked" version.
