Mike Patton can be great fun. Fantomas is nifty stuff.
I'm more of a John Zorn fan myself, though, as far as the charismatic/enigmatic weird music icons go. Naked City is a favorite, and I'm a big fan of his Tzadik label in general.

Naked City
I actually heard them first
In 9th grade
On a cd my friend made
It was half Spazz
Half naked city
Mike patton collaborated with them
If I remember right
Hes the voice

Speaking of
My friend bought a case of cds off a homeless guy
It was mainly slayer
But it had Adult Themes For Voice in it
Check that out
Its all sounds he makes
