For some reason, this song always makes me think about someone cutting off my ear with a straight razor and dousing me with gasoline...

Lead singer Gerry Rafferty is one of my favourite musicians and was born in my home town. Stuck In the Middle was a hit in 1973 before
it was revived by Tarantino.Other main members of the band were Joe Egan and Rab Noakes,who would later play an amazing harmonica solo in the title track of Gerry's album 'City To City'. This album produced Gerry's world-wide hit 'Baker Street'.

Sadly,he passed away earlier this year but I'm sure his music will live on for a long time.
