Do any of you listen to Puerto Rican Reggaeton music? Is kind of cool. If so, send me a reply on what you think.

I love Puerto Rican Music, your artists are brilliant which include Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez, Daddy Yankee and Ricky Martin. I am really looking forward for Jennifer Lopez's and Marc Anthony's New show Que Viva which is produced by S Club 7 creator Simon Fuller.

No idea how you people listen to this stuff. It all has the same beat/rhythm.

How does it not bore you all?

My mom being Puertoriquenho(I put 'h' because I can't put a tilde over my n without finding out the code for it), we listen to a lot of Reggaeton and Salsa whenever we go on trips in the car.

I grew up in a Puerto Rican neighborhood in Chicago (Logan Square) and I love the music, even though I'm not a Boricua.

The hypnotic effect of Afro-Latin rhythms is the intention. It's only boring because you don't appreciate the simplicity. I assume you must also not like Philip Glass.

The only reason I put this topic is to see what you think of the music.

And the reason that I miss the old flow of the music. I'll tell you why. It lost its flow because the Reggaeton now sounds like pop, just like Hip Hop right now.

Here's the difference of the rhythm of the reggaeton:

1. Jowell and Randy - Eh Oh Eh Oh:

2. Jowell and Randy (ft. Javiah) - Un Booty Nuevo:

I know this an old post, but I did a search on reggaeton and this came up. I love reggaeton music. I have plans to visit San Juan in 2015 or 2016! I been doing Zumba for little over a year and love it. My favorite Reggaeton singer is Don Omar. I also like Daddy Yankee and Wisin Y Yandel. I find that their music makes me happy and calms me. Speaking of reggaeton singers, I did notice when they come to the main US that they tend to sing at nightclubs. Why not larger concert venues? :( For example, Don Omar is coming to DC in Dec at some nightclub that I never heard of. I was hoping Verizon Center. I did see Pitbull and Enrique Iglesias last month at the Verizon Center and it was the BEST concert I ever attended. I did read how Don Omar, Daddy Yankee, Wisin Y Yandel are planning a tour together sometime in 2015 or 2016! A nightclub would NOT be good for that.

My favorite Don Omar song! :)

This song is good too!
