Okay, and how much is that? It varies so much, I've seen.

Publishers don't pay by the page, generally. The amount you would get varies based on how many copies they think they can sell; you then get an advance, and a cut of the profits. If the book fails to sell well, the amount you make will be less, but if it is a bestseller then the amount could be huge.

Do you think there is a lot of demand for an autobiography of an unknown 21 year old?

Well, if you just want to get your story told you might consider self-publishing it on a service like Lulu.com, or publishing it online someplace like Blogger or WordPress. If you wrote it only for the purpose of making money from it, wait until you've done something famous and sell it to a publisher then. :)

I'm not doing it for the money, I was just curious. I am going to self-publish my book. :)

I once heard of a shop in Australia where they worked out the price by weighing the book!

some places will pay by the word, but that's kinda old-school...
You might look at a web site called smashwords; there's a lot of 'how to' publishing and writing books and documents there...
