A Walk in the Valley
Can you walk in the valley with the trees and the rain
Throw off your armor, lay down your pain
The trails up ahead, some of lilly, some moss
Will lead you to places with a wink and a toss
Pause in the sunshine that breaks thru the trees
Warm for a moment, bend down to your knees
And listen to the rain drops, the crisp smell of dew
The moment will take you from there this is true
But return to the valley with the trees and the rain
And listen for a new moment to follow again
Then walk in that moment aware and at ease
Knowing all trails return to the trees
In the valley of rain, armor thrown, on your knees
