R.I.P Jimmy "Handy Man" Jones. He died a few days ago. I personally prefer his other hit "Good Timin'"

My old music channel "musicnewzealand" was terminated, so I made a new one which is http://www.youtube.com/user/KlassicKlips4U

And here's one of my uploads, also one of my favorites:

Please rate, comment and subscribe etc to my utube. My old one MusicNewZealand was thriving and had constant comments daily.

I can only find the later version, it's not as good as the earlier version, which is faster, better singing, and more tight:
The Beachnuts - I've Got A Tiger In My Tanks (earlier version by The Intimates).

Lou Reed (as The Beechnuts) - Cycle Annie:

Lou Reed (as The Roughnecks) - You're Driving Me Insane:

A happy song, sort of a mix of B-52's and The Mamas and the papas even though the b-52's were still 10 years away:

Is it so wrong that the bassline for this song sounds like Joy Division (post-punk) to me? And the lyrics sound like 1970's punk?

For "oldies" music my favorites would include Run Around Sue by Dion and the Belmonts:

Brown Eyed Girl by Van Morrison:

Also Runaway and The Wanderer, both by Del Shannon, as well as The Lion Sleeps Tonight by the Tokens, and pretty much anything by Buddy Holly:

The Wanderer is by Dion (minus the Belmonts), Also Del did a great version of Runaround Sue.
