The Edvard Munch Painting "The Scream", is going on display at the museum of modern art in New York. Does anyone else like this painting? It's one of my favorites. It's so haunting and mysterious.

For what it's worth, there are four paintings of "The Scream" by Munch. If I remember correctly, one of them was up for sale not too long ago. It was, needless to say, far out of my price range.

Yes, Edvard Munch painted four versions. Three are in Oslo museums and one is privately owned.

Yah...The Privately owned one is the one going on display in New York. It sold at auction to an anonymous Buyer for just under 120 million. I read that that is the most any private buyer has paid for a painting in history.
