Idaho you would probably like the subgenre indietronica which seems to be pop mixed with a use of electronics rather than electronics being the main thing.

Fell in love with Prog rock and metal the first time I heard Dream Theater's Metropolis on some webradio. Became a fan of them, as well as Ayreon, Queensryche, The Reasoning, King Crimson, Pink Floyd, and then some..

At the moment, electronic music - more specifically Dubstep.

I like Rogue, Tristam and Skrillex

That's quite an unique combination of genres tbh (and no I'm not kidding about this, I'm pretty damn serious)!

Minimalism (not the elctronic subtype, the real minimalism)
Indian classical music
Some of the contemporary classical music (I like very few, but the few I like, I really enjoy)
Medievel music (Jordi Saval, Montserrat Figueras, etc.)
Some Jazz and fusion

Rock: Pink Floyd and Frank Zappa

Alternative Rock for me; especially stuff by They Might Be Giants, Bare Naked Ladies (admittedly a little mainstream), Flaming Lips, The Black Keys, Devo, etc.

Piano (Mozart most) jazz (Piano players like Errol Garner and Oscar Peterson) mostly piano in any form and singers with great pitch accuracy of any persuasion like Pavarotti, Johnny Mathis. Showing my age again..
