Here's some images that come into my head, featuring two characters from my WIP.

Song 1:

Molly Ringwald (the basis for my MC), 18, wears a green zip-up hoodie, ratty blue jeans, a white t-shirt with a black frowning smiley face, and old, untied Nikes. She is walking down a sidewalk, in slo-motion, in a dark part of the futuristic megalopolis of Janus City. It's raining tonight, like it always does in Janus. It is past curfew for kids her age; her alcoholic adoptive father, Michael Caine, is either wondering where she is or passed out after drowning his sorrows. She passes neon signs, parked/beat up hovercars, a corpse of a vagrant. She doesn't really notice the body. On her right arm is a device similar to a PipBoy, and in her ears are wireless buds synced to the device, and she is listening to Fly Me to the Moon by Sinatra. She tilts her hooded head up to the black sky. Molly's eyes have bags under them; she hasn't gotten much sleep. She is reminded of her childhood, when she was happier. Her adoptive mother, who drowned in a hurricane four years ago, plays with her on the swings. It's a sunny day in Los Angeles. This was when Molly was five or six.

In the morning, Michael Caine and Molly sit opposite each other from the kitchen table. Michael Caine is a counselor. They are giving each other stoic Kubrick stares. They don't say a word.

Molly Ringwald sneaks out one night, once again. This time, she is wearing a facemask similar to this:

She has a backpack, and a can of spray paint. She has this to say through graffiti:
WHO THE HELL AM I? - EVA
CHANGE IS COMING.
CAN I BE LOVED?
UGLYPRETTYUGLYPRETTYUGLYPRETTY
This scene is intercut with Caine and Molly staring at each other.
He stretches his hand across the table, trying to comfort Molly. She yanks her hand away in slow motion.

Another scene: not as happy.

Michael Caine is restraining Molly from behind, as she cries and smashes household objects. Vases. Glasses. A family photo. The three of them: Mother. Father. Daughter. They are both on the ground. Michael Caine is crying too.
