...but have yet to get around to. What are some?

For me, some are:

Fiction

Some Jane Austen books, including Pride and Prejudice and Emma.

The Harry Potter series - I currently own all books except for the fourth but I have never gotten around to reading them.

More novels by the Bronte sisters (I read Jane Eyre and loved it) - some of their books I want to read are Wuthering Heights, Villette, and Agnes Grey.

To Kill a Mockingbird - I was supposed to read it in high school, but I didn't. I currently own it, so it's just a matter of taking up the initiative.

Les Liaisons Dangereuses ("Dangerous Liaisons") - it just looks so sweet and scandalous, but it's not high on my priority list right now.

Frankenstein - I'd like to give gothic literature a try...

The Hunchback of Notre Dame - I loved the Disney version and the book's tone really attracts me.

The Secret Garden - I got about halfway through it in elementary school but I didn't finish it - I guess I have my ADHD to blame for that.

Non-Fiction

The Feminine Mystique

Religion Gone Bad - Mel White

The Souls of Black Folk

...and maybe Margaret Sanger's and Helen Keller's autobiographies.

The Organ: An Encyclopedia. It's close to 700 pages long but I've only acquired it recently.

Years ago someone told me I should read The Alchemist. But I only got round to it recently and I was disappointed. It is a nice story but kind of kids stuff.

I want to read some H P Lovecraft so will aim to soon.

Perhaps you could try skimming over it at first?

Yeah, that might help actually... Also, I just changed majors from History to Social Work, so my reading load for school has dropped dramatically (I probably read 700 or 800 pages of primary sources for my last history class).

I might try to tackle it again this summer... :)
