The Best Horror Of The Year: Volume 14.

Valentine's Day present from my wife. Anthology of what the editors have decided are the best horror fiction of the last year. So far, so good.

Carmilla by Sheridan Le Fanu

I love his writing style so much that I don't want to finish it.

Septuagenarian Stew Stories And Poems, by Charles Bukowski.

Collection of some of Bukowski's poetry and short fiction, which can be both funny and tragic.

The God delusion by richard dawkins

Excuse my lack of capitalisation,
The shift on my keyboard has decided to go on strike.
An act of God, perhaps.

Notice of course that it automatically capitalises God

I'm A Currant Bun, by Raleigh O Bolly

It has some really captivating dialogue, but I just can't find it yet.

I read it a few years ago. I need to reread it because it’s a good book.

Dawkins quote:

“The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully.”

Eels: An Exploration, From NZ to The Sargasso, of the World's Most Mysterious Fish by James Prosek,

The Lady in the Lake by Raymond Chandler

A Hangman's Diary; the Journal of Master Franz Schmidt, Public Executioner of Nuremberg, 1573-1617 by Franz Schmidt.

Still reading the middle one, liked 'em all so far.
