I read Prozac Nation when it first came out. Have you ever read the Culture of Narcissm? It's by Christopher Lasch. I bought that in 1979 when it first came out.

You've got some interesting books there jimservo. Animal Farm is one of my favourites, and Orwell's 1984.

The Golden Bough ~ Sir James Frazer

I haven't looked at The Golden Bough in many years, but it was fascinating. Frazer was a wild and crazy guy by the standards of his day. Maybe any day, now that I think about it.

Most are library books, and I have to finish BotB soon, because I've already borrowed the final part, and that has to go back next week (someone has irritatingly reserved it!).
