Those who know the term "Little Monsters will know what I am talking about.

I know there's been some Lady Gaga topics in the past (I guess...I searched one time) but it would be great to have fellow aspie monsters to talk to!

She's my favorite celebrity of all time.

I dont care what my fellow oldsters say.

I like Lady Gaga.

Ofcourse Im biased because my job is getting young folks to stay on the dancefloor at parties for a deejay company, and her songs save my ass every now and then.

But I like her even speaking as a music listener.

Also one of her hits "Born this Way" would make a good 'aspie anthem'.

The melody of the US national anthem was stolen from a British drinking song.

So if a country can steal an anthem so can we aspies.

I would put "Born this Way" (even though it was aimed at gays) alongside "Aint No Stoppin Us Now" ( aimed at African Americans) by McFaddin and Whitehead (later covered by Luther Vandross) as my two favorite purloined aspie anthems.

Yay, finally somebody who is!

Born This Way is a GREAT aspie anthem! It makes me happier being one knowing that she'd want me to be proud of who I was because I was indeed "Born This Way".

*sigh* I'd love to meet her someday...had that dream for a couple years now... :chin:

Paws up :D

You know, I've always wondered if Gaga herself has Asperger's...she's really quirky and reminds me of a musical friend I have who also has AS. They both live in their own world and do whatever they want, seeming like there's a barrier between them and the world. Then there's the fact that she was teased in school and had a hard time relating to the people in Hollywood. It doesn't really matter, but I think it would be neat if the richest woman under 30 and second most influential pop star in the world happened to be an Aspie. Kind of makes you feel less doomed for life XD

I'm ambivalent about Lady Gaga.
