frightened rabbit
radiohead
wintersleep (canadian)
tame impala (i think the lead singer/lyricist is on the spectrum)
wolf people

tallest man on earth
first aid kit
amy winehouse (just started listening to her relatively recently and her stuff has really grown on me, rest her soul)
sam roberts band (canadian)
david bowie (needs no explanation)

the beatles (for mostly sentimental reasons now)
björk (because she just rocks)
billie holiday (it's hard for me to listen to some of her later stuff, too sad)
death cab for cutie
stevie wonder (i'm talking classic motown stevie, as in "signed, sealed, & delivered" and "i was made to love her"--"talking book" is another excellent album)

beck
the black keys (really big on these guys right now)
atoms for peace (thom yorke+flea=musical awesomeness)
metric (canadian)
plants and animals (canadian)

I hate top something lists. But I have asperger's so obviously I revel in bitterness, self hatred and what not so I will make a list and do so with haste.

Jan Dukes De Grey
Univers Zero
Beyond Dawn
Antonin Dvorak
Nightstick
Krzysztof Penderecki
Ved Buens Ende
Magma
Henry Cow
Gong
The Flying Luttenbachers
Inspiral Carpets
Heresy
Felix Mendelssohn
Igor Stravinsky
Der Künftige Musikant
Country Teasers
Robert Wyatt
Gryphon
Moving Gelatine Plates

Not a top 20 list as such but these artists all seem to get played often by myself along with a lot of the other stuff but it's best to omit artists of who I only listen to the odd song or so from.

How do you keep it to 20? I have 86 on my favorite artists playlists. I tried to weed some out, but the thought was too painful! :D
