When you sing do you feel like you connect to people? I mean the ones that u r singing to?

i used to think i couldnt do that because i am autistic. But when i sing i feel like i do. Has anybody else had this experience??

i've never sung to anyone, but i did feel like i was connecting with a now - ex friend when she did sing to me, one time. it was amazing.

i think so. i feel like when i'm singing/performing, it's the only time i ever really come out of my shell and "bare" my soul to the public

Yes! Singing is my way of communicating with people. I would love to make it into my profession but unfortunately, in a world where style seems to be dominated over substance, it seems impossible.

I can't say that I connect with the audience when I sing in a choir or other choral group. Even in a small quartet. Even when I was an instrumentalist, back in my younger days, I never felt any connection. I was into the music and how I was playing (and now singing) it.
