I think the man who killed John Lennon was sent here by Satan to turn the world to Hell......

It was a wonderful time, a time of being glad to be alive, expecting great things. We still have Ringo - doesn't Paul count?

It's still a wonderful time.

We are on cusp of some of the most amazing discoveries man has ever made. Limb regeneration could be possible within the decade. Cloaking (Real Klingon style cloaks) are possible given a few decades. Cars that drive themselves. Alternative fuels - universal currency - computer chips that can interface with the human brain!

Good heavens no! The Paul is Dead thing was disgusting. It was the Press that created that, and DeeJays. At the time I was worried, but it did seem contrived, kind of reaching a bit too far, like Paul having bare feet. And then one night they had his Dad on the radio saying that Paul was fine, and that was enough for me.

That's great stuff. But as much as I hope for those things, I don't feel the excitement down to the marrow of my bones, I don't live in the absolute certainty of something wonderful happening *now*.

Erm ... Real Klingon style cloaks? Will they have a personal version?

The reason the Beatles broke up was Yoko Ono. John was a very angry young man, who yearned towards love but couldn't practice it, yet. Paul was the Success, who functioned from a business point of view even when that looked totally alien.

To tell you the truth, John was my favourite. Still is. But even then I knew he was angry, he had such a sexy edge. What about what he did to Julian? When John's marriage to Cynthia fell apart, the only one who stood by Julian was Paul (Hey Jude was originally Hey Julian).

There should have no bullet at all.

Truthfully, I'm sort of an anti-Beatles person. I have a few of their records (mainly because I'm a music nerd), and I don't dislike them, but I don't like the direction they led pop music in, and I don't think they as artful as they are made out to be. I feel pretty much the same way about the band Nirvana. To listen to their music now, they're both good bands, but flip on the radio and you'll see my complaint.

always been a john guy...paul struck me as a money grubbing jerk.

but then again, the reason why i think of john more for the love is because of after he had sean....when he really did have love and really found it for himself.

/listening to plastic ono band right now
