I just finished this book: http://www.amazon.com/Tuning-Station-Ch ... ng+station
I like this a lot. Not everybody here will (true of any book I might suggest) think is book is fascinating, but I think the life of the main character with Asperger's will reflect a lot of the lives of people here on WrongPlanet.

A book I adored for it's lovely poetic writing and interesting mystery was Winter Haven by a guy with the unfortunate name of Athol Dickson: http://www.amazon.com/Winter-Haven-Atho ... le+dickson

If you haven't read it already, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime by Mark Haddon is a great book. We got to choose what book we wanted to read for my English class and the fact that the main character had Asperger's kinda clued me into the idea of me having it.

Awsamb, that is so interesting. I did love The Curious Incident. For me, it was reading Thinking In Pictures by Temple Grandin during my continual quest to understand and help my severely autistic daughter that stunned me into realizing I had Asperger's.

I read the Swedish "The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo", actually the entire series. Such a great pleasure. It was hinted several times that the girl has AS, although I'm not really sure how she managed to handle all the stimuli presented in the books.
