It's been out since 1997. It might have been the original version u heard, which starts differently but is the same song. Maybe u heard it on the radio or on a music channel? Or in a public place that plays music?

i love the libertines b-sides and this music is my favorite of the moment. it has a slightly beatles vibe i think.
