ooooh. have they got drums and real instruments?

Kinda :) They're a sort of early 80s synth pop throwback duo dooberry crossed with the "Chemical Brothers" I suppose - they use samples and "beats" ( :P ) and the like but very musically, and they actually play and write songs 8O and indeed use some real instruments! 8O I like their second album a lot - haven't heard their first album yet though.

I'm a bit thin on the ground on "dance", but I can recommend loads of great indie bands if your interested?

sigh. i want something new to listen to. have just ordered the most recent Lamb CD. now i want stuff that's danceable to, with plenty of drums, but not big beats or techno or trance. maybe "world" music-y stuff - i like asian and middle eastern influences. possibly transglobal underground sort of thing. possibly. but i'm open to offers.

come on, folks - make with the suggestions.

I completely forgot "Soulwax".... Kind of a techno/indie hybrid, eminently danceable and completely wonderful! :)
