"Great American Novel" by Larry Norman. Good song, especially to spark political debate.

hi vetivert. Nope havent heard the remix album. In fact im very new to Steve Reich. Im currently experimenting with music composition where taped samples are used to define the melody of a song. So for example if you take dialogue of someone talking, you try and pick out a melody from the tone of their voice. Im trying to incorporate this technique into my own music. Anyway i was recommended Steve Reich for this kinda thing. And and now im totally into the whole 'minimalist' thing now.

Recommend any other stuff ? Whats the remix like?

Nothing right now, but I'd really love to find some good Brockie sets from 97-2000. So far all the usendit or megaupload links I did searching D&B Arena have turned up dead :(

music for 18 musicians, the 6 marimbas, definitely. and the remix album sounds as though it would fit into your experimental composition work.
