Haiku's (as I'm sure you are aware of) are Japanese poems that follow the pattern of 5 syllables on 1 line, 7 the next, and 5 again the one after. Something like this.

The majestic sky
So endless and beautiful
But all things must end

It's really limiting and is really good for writing exercises. It's good to write if you don't have much time to do it.

Five syllables here
And seven syllables here
Are you happy now?
