Has anyone else read any of his books?

I finished the second book of Night's Dawn; the Neutronium Alchemist, and I thought both 1 and 2 were great. I'm getting the Third as soon as. Absolutely great, supremely epic books, in comparison to alot of other modern sci-fi writers. Which books should I read after the Night's Dawn Trilogy, though? I was thinking of Fallen Dragon, it seems interesting.

Hamilton's a literary genius, from the epic inventiveness of the books that I've read so far.

For the US, yes. But there are 3 books in the original UK version of Night's Dawn.

Why did they split them up into mini-books for the US?

I read The Reality Dysfunction and thought it was okay, some good characters and storylines, obviously a bit drawn out but well readable.
Then i started the second one and it felt like it was written by a different author. More like a children's fantasy fairy tale than the hard sci-fi of the first novel. I gave up on it after about 200 pages. Like a mills & boon love story involving long dead reincarnated irish leprechauns zombies.
Literary genius

I totally disagree with you. What the hell was wrong with the second? It was just as great as the first, though some people might not appreciate that.
If you're referring to Al, he's a good character, and it will be interesting if or when he meets with Quinn Dexter.

You already know more about it than I do. Ask the author or look it up.

I've read Mindstar Rising, Pandora's Star, and Judas Unchained by Hamilton. All great stuff.

Ok, fair enough. Did you read it all, though?

I'm going to start on Fallen Dragon after I finish The Naked God.
