Making this topic for those looking to share their favourite instrumental music! Particularly ambient and long works but happy for this thread to be as broad as people might like it to be. I find the broader ambient, modern classical and experimental world of music incredibly soothing as a means to deal with auditory oversensitivity and I'm wondering if other people might feel the same?? This can be with soft gentle ambient music or harsh motorik industrial krautrock or anything in between but there's something about more long form Instrumental works that can help a lot to cope with outside auditory stimulus.
I listen to all kinds of music and play in a loud touring band but instrumental music has become my main go to for listening - this also broadens out into various synthwave and electronic genres too.
Keen for recommendations from others or happy to share more recommendations to other people who might be interested but are new to this kind of music!
