My favorite band is Jethro Tull and while I like 98% of their music, I have no idea what they were thinking with "Hot Mango Flesh" (or really most of the Dot Com album with the exception of "Spiral").

I'll come back later with some of my other favorite bands.

Far too many to list. Some of the ones that stand out the most are just about everything by Taylor Swift post Red, All About That Bass, the Oompa Loompa song from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and that dumbass Baby Shark song. In regards to the latter, I'm particularly baffled by where this song came from and why it's just recently become as popular as it has. I just find it to be incredibly f*****g stupid in all honesty.

Love Styx, but can't stand "She Cares" off Paradise Theater.

There are so many yet so few immediately come to mind.

Pompeii by Bastille has always chafed pretty hard, but I think that may have to deal with it being overplayed and showing up in so many damn commercials. I will forever be vexed by "day day boo, day boo". Ugh.

You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet by Bachman-Turner Overdrive also always really annoyed me for some reason.

Demons by Imagine Dragons too. It's Time by Imagine Dragons is probably their worst offender for me. I don't know what it is about their songs but they always come off to me as insufferably saccharine and pseudo-inspirational. I think it might have to do with the kinds of movies they get paired with in advertisements but crap like "I'm never changing who I am" just makes me violently roll my eyes on a deeply spiritual level.

I'm not a huge beatles fan, but they do have a nice catalogue of music that I've listened to in its entirety.

Revolution #9 is full of sound and fury signifying nothing.

I like Imagine Dragons, but “Thunder” gets on my last nerve.

Anything with autotune.

I'm not even sure how that got a pass but I guess it is because pop music standards have gotten so low that whatever turns a quick profit is deemed acceptable even if professional musicians and producers and the public would never have accepted it 20-30? years ago. (Maybe I am wrong and this has always been something wanted or implemented in some fashion)

I wish I could list the names of some of the songs but they all blur together for me.

Agreed. Cher is the only artist who knows how to use Autotune properly.

Jimmy Cliff - "I Can See Clearly Now". That badminton-racket-hitting-a-tennis ball snare drives me INSANE!! !

An oldie but a baddie. This song drove my 11 year old self crazy when it was constantly played on the radio a half century ago.
